Karan Paitka is a filmmaker based in Montreal. The work moves through comedy, horror, experimental film and branded content.
Last Call for the Cure, which he wrote, produced and co-starred in, was one of ten scripts selected for Paramount Hotel Dubai's We Create Drama.
MAYA, shot in Melbourne in 2026, is his formal directorial debut. He put a key crew together within weeks of arriving for the graduation project.
His practice combines visual storytelling with production planning: shaping the script, coordinating the crew and carrying the creative intent through the edit.
